Considering the real-time nature of this bulletin board (BB), it is impossible for us to review messages or confirm the validity of information posted. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the contents of this BB and are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this BB.
Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by Email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. Under no circumstances shall DC be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from use of, or the inability to use DC's Message Boards. You specifically acknowledge and agree that DC shall not be liable to you for any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of any other user.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this BB to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, advocates any illegal or dangerous activity, or otherwise violative of any law, or that contains any virus or other harmful component. You agree not to post any material that infringes upon or violates any party's copyright, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights. With respect to copyright law, be advised that posting any third party's copyrighted work on our boards may violate the owner's copyright. You also may not include in any message that you post on our boards any link to any site which violates any of the foregoing terms and conditions.
Although we do not and cannot review the messages posted and are not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this BB (and any owners of this BB) and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).
We also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.
DC's Message Boards may be used by participants solely for non-commercial purposes. You may not post any message for commercial purposes or any message that contains advertising.
Please note that advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate in this BB and posting of any chain letters, pyramid schemes, message board spamming or other repetitive postings may constitute a violation of our rights for which we reserve the right to take legal action.

Fan Fiction, Story Ideas and Related Issues
DC's Message Boards are NOT intended for use as forums for fan fiction or for the submission of story ideas or plots. DC and its employees and authorized licensees and freelance talent are constantly coming up with new storylines, ideas, plot proposals, and new fiction. DC shall have no responsibility for any similarities between any fan fiction, story ideas or plot proposals posted on our Message Boards in violation of our terms and conditions and any works subsequently published by DC or any of our licensees as any such similarity shall be purely coincidental. By posting any fan fiction or proposed story ideas or plots on DC's Message Boards, you waive any claims for credit or consideration of any kind as a result of DC's publication or use of any similar matter in any manner or medium.
License to DC
By posting messages on DC's Message Boards, you license to DC an irrevocable, royalty free, perpetual, non-exclusive, unrestricted, worldwide license to: (1) reproduce, adapt, transmit, display and otherwise use any messages that you post on our boards in any manner and in any medium, including without limitation, on the DC Messag Boards, and in letter columns of our applicable comic books; (2) sublicense to any third parties the right to exercise any of the foregoing rights; and (3) reproduce and use your screen name, Email address and elements of your user profile, if any, in whole or in part, in connection with our exercise of any of the foregoing rights.
If you do not want your messages to be reproduced, please feel free to browse our Message Boards without posting any messages of your own.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. If any provision of this agreement shall be deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
